Here I present the horoscope that the characters of the book might have.

Holden: Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and it signifies unlimited energy, enthusiasm, energy and adventurism. The characters of courage come naturally to all Arians. Phoebe: Libra a sign of fertility and a symbol of harvesting, Libra is a great sign that is not only inanimate but also unusual. Libra raises itself when people start harvesting their crops. DB:Lion is the king of the forest and he can survey the entire forestland with an aristocratic outlook. Most demanding and dominating of all the animals is the Lion because of its imposing presence. It is no wonder to see that people who are born under Leo sun sign are the most dominating of all sun signs. Leos are the most expressive, creative and immensely out going of all people. Just look at a Leo person and you will see how creative and inventive they are! A typical Leo can be very attractive, imposing and magnetic in looks and demeanor. DB fits this kind of zodiac sign because of his decitions, maybe he is not doing well in life right know but he decided that way, and he is goingt trough that period with a lot of convincement.

My last post?

About my blog experience, I have to say that at first, I did not like the idea, because I did not know how to use it, or why we were creating a blog, but then I started to love it, and writing every week transformed into an amazing opportunity to improve my writing. It definitely made me felt more secure about what I was writing every week. Maybe, my mistake was to think that the blog was stupid.
About posting on my classmates blogs, I was always posting because the only way to share what we thought was to posting, so it was very important, and I liked it a lot.
To sum up, I think that having this blog was cool, because sometimes I didn’t realized how much it helped me with my writing, and at the end, I think that I’m going to keep writing on it.

Karla´s Blog =)

I decided to visit her blog because I think that is very interesting. She has almost the same thoughts about things that I have. I felt very comfortable reading all of her posts; because I understand everything she was trying to say. About her design, it is a beautiful blog, full of colors, and even though the font is black and grey, you can find colors in her blog because of the pretty pictures that she put on it, and that calls my attention a lot. When I first visited her blog, I did not understand why she calls sevinnyne79, but then I asked her, and she told me that she has another blog with that name, and because of that she added the number 79. I really like her style, so there is nothing to change, I think.
On her blog, she has nine posts about all the tasks that we did during the semester, and I’m always posting her because as I said before, I think that we have the same thoughts about things, and that is very interesting, because nowadays is not easy to find people that share almost the same points of view that you have.

My favorite post was definitely, Orlans, because she talks about her in a very respectful way, she said that she found her art work very interesting and important. On the other hand, she also talks about her body transformations, saying that is not big deal to do all those surgical modifications, because just with her point of view about things, there is no need to exaggerate her body parts. She is an artist no matter what.

Karla is very good in English, and she has very few mistakes, most of them are because she type wrong words, and she does not realized about it. The only thing that she needs is focuses more on what she is writing.

Personal attitude

We are almost finishing the first semester and personally I’m very stressed out. This second year at university made me think about almost everything that is happening in my life. Talking about university and my disposition, I think that at first I was very motivated, but then I started to felt very disappointed about things that I do not like, those things are affecting my academic performance, but I’m doing my best trying to overcome those issues.
Talking about young attitudes, I have to say that almost everyone are being irresponsible classmates, because most of the time they just do not care about homework’s, pop quizzes, cumulative and final oral and writing exams. They just do not care about their future. I remember that about 2 month ago we worked with an interview, and one of my classmates told me that he was studying English pedagogy just because it is an easy course and that he really doesn’t care about it.
To continue with this, I think that these new generations are the “lazy generations” because they never try hard to pursue they dreams or fight for something. I totally fit in this group, because even though I’m not THAT lazy I thing that right now I’m not making any effort to get motivated again with my career. My parents told me that is totally normal to feel this way during this period of my life, and I told them that I never thought that I was going to feel this way, because when I decided to study English Pedagogy I was totally sure that this course was my passion, well, English is my passion, and working with people is one of my passions too. I do not want to sacrifice my favorite career because of these insecurities that I’m having right now, deep in my heart I really want this, but I have to overcome all this little rocks that are in my way to keep going, I’m pretty good at this and I know that, maybe is just that I need a little rest to recuperate all my energies…. I want my vacations!!!! =)

To conclude, Miss: Don’t doubt about your performance as a teacher, because you are great, you are always worried about us, and is very hard to find committed teachers as you are. To be honest I’m very glad that I’m being taught by you, besides your classes are cool, the only thing that is not cool at all and you know that, is our gorgeous Straightforward book, but we can solve this problem inventing a new way to work with it, maybe we can try with a little bit of music or something that we all have in common, our passion… well, right now I’m not sure that we can all say that English pedagogy is our passion, but anyway, the ones that really want this, are the ones that are going to succeed at the end of the road.

chilean game ! =)

well, after looking the game, that actually made me felt very nervous, I have to say that we are the best!!! hahaha, because the team controled the game pretty good, and honduras didn´t have much oportunities winning the game.
marcelo bielsa, as a coach is a very good strategist and I think that he studied a lot about all the teams that we are going to play with.
to be prepared for today's game, I slept very early, and I woke up not with my clock alarm, but with all the "bubucelas" and honks at street this morning, so I turned on the television, and while the team was getting ready for the game at the camerinos, I had a very quik shower, and lucky me, the first goal was while I was getting dressed up. =)
right now, Im very happy,because of the results that spain and switzerland had, because we are going almost first at the score table. also, spain was called the favourite of H group, but now CHILE is the favourite =) if CHILE keep up with that rhythm once and for all, maybe we can win the world cup championship =) I'm thinking possitive because we, chilean people are always thinking the worses things.... so, chile is going to win this championship! wooohhooo!!!

education is killing our creativity

Ken Robinson talks about why creativity is becoming a bad characteristic, but that is happening because of us, society is creating that vision and, as an example, kids at school can not be creative because they just have to be focuses on their minds. they left their body just as the big supported of our thoughts, and as a personal opinion, being creative is just part of our human essence and we must use that inborn dynamics and interactions with our surroundings to build a better world, we need to be honest about things that we want, because nobody is going to do all things that we want in life and in our future. I don’t want to raise my kids in a material world, based just on appearance and trying to reach goals that are listed first than things that really matters, and because of those bad decisions they just loose all the real passions that they want to realized in life and got lost in the way.
Education is killing our personal dreams and is transforming us into a mechanical society because is based on collective ideals and we are not realizing how harmful that is. I think that we need to stop those repeated dreams, and just don’t let go our real essence. Everybody looks for originality, but nobody realized that that originality is inside of every human being that lives at this planet.

Thoughts about art ...

Well, personally art is an important tool that society has to express from different points of view, feelings, thoughts, and political opinions as Orlan does.

My favorite piece of art? well, actually I do not have one, I just enjoy going to interesting art galleries or visiting different expo's at "la moneda" museum, but besides that, I'm not that interested in art, for me is more like a personal thing, because when I'm feeling happy, weird or sad with some things, I just draw special figures or things that I like, for example, cute flowers or landscapes, I also enjoy drawing portraits,(I’m pretty good at that (= ), but if I have to choose a thing that really struck my attention, it would be photography. Taking photos means a lot to me, because you can capture different moments in life that maybe never are going to happen again, family moments, birthdays, friends parties, my pets, Curicó, etc. So, if I have to say what is my favorite art piece, it would be my own art works because if you are not interest in calling people attention, the only reason why you paint, or took pictures, is for your own "life art gallery" nobody is going to understand what things you tried to express with your "art pieces". To complement all things that I said, my own draws and pictures, another thing that I really love, is listening to music, I mix this three important things and when I want to draw I put my headphones on, and I start to draw, and all those feelings that music brings me, I translated to my white sheet, and that is the way I performed.
